Closure is a documentary about the adoption experience from an adoptee’s perspective. It follows Angela Tucker, an African American transracial adoptee who was adopted from foster care at the age of one. Closure follows Angela’s journey to find her birth family—a search that took over two years. It documents Angela’s emotional and exhaustive search to eventually reunite with her birth family on the other side of the country.
Angela is also a mentor, consultant, and podcaster who is known as a thought leader on the intersectional topics of race, class, and identity. Closure was recommended by one of our regular guests on the Adoptees On podcast, Mary Anna King.
